Sherridon Homes build domestic homes in the North and West of Melbourne to Geelong and through to the Bellarine Peninsula – either specific projects for individual customers, or ready to build house and land packages designed to suit a specific block of land. Some customers like to buy prepared house and land packages to save on stamp duty.
Our build process is a very important of making your project as worry free as possible. At Sherridon Homes, we have a specific 7-step process and will communicate with you regularly to keep you in the loop on the progress of your home.
- Land identification – land is sourced either by you, or from the range of blocks available to Sherridon Homes for house and land packages
- Contracts – at this stage, we’ll exchange contracts on the land and the construction
- Design– at this stage, we’ll finalise your choice of home design and any specific customization you may desire
- Council – at this stage we’ll get approvals of your plans with council
- Construction – actually 5-6 steps in itself ranging from site preparation, slab, frame, lock-up, finishing and landscaping
- Quality Check – we engage independent quality control experts to check your completed home for any final work before completion so the home meets both our and your expectations.
- Handover –the exciting stage where we meet you at your new home to hand over the keys and walk you through your completed home.
